Aspect
An aspect is a collection of structuring information of the electronic patient record, which is displayed as a pushbutton in the patient organizer/patient viewer.
You use aspects to structure the electronic patient record. Using aspects you can map various views of the medical data from SAP Patient Management and the clinical work station or from SAP Ambulatory Care Management
(patient viewer).
You can also restrict these views of medical data using selection criteria (selection variants).
Structure
An aspect can contain the following structuring information:
Grouping Nodes (Time Nodes, Case Nodes, Problem Nodes)
Views for medical objects (e.g. clinical orders, documents, diagnoses, etc.)

Example
To structure the patient record of a patient who has been having regular examinations for a long time, you could structure by year. In addition, the attending physician wishes to see, for example, only laboratory findings, discharge summaries, patient-related anamnesis documents, and any radiological requests, in order to receive an overview.
