Function documentationConfigure the Dispatcher Work Station

To configure the dispatcher work station, you, as the system administrator, must make general settings.

Features

  • Authorizations

You can only control an authorization check for the dispatcher work station by calling the transaction N1DI.

  • Field Selection

For the dispatcher work station, you can use a field selection from which you can display, for example, the following fields:

    • Description of the transport type of a transport order for the left-hand screen area (Grid Control)

    • Abbreviation and description of the transport type of the transport order for the right-hand screen area (tree)

    • Telephone number of the transporter (right-hand screen area)

    • Transport order comment in all three screen areas.

  • User Parameters

You control the behavior of the dispatcher work station using user parameters.

  • OU Parameters

You control the behavior of the dispatcher work station using OU parameters.

See OU-Related Patient Transport Service Settings

  • Pager Numbers

You provide the dispatcher with a selection list of pager numbers. For this purpose, you select the same process used for managing combobox elements of parametrized documents: The system supplies a generic document element with the name $FDPAGER, for which all available pagers are entered with the transaction N2KA. The input help (F4) for the Pager No. field will produce a selection list containing all combo box values entered for the documentation element $FDPAGER.

  • Screen Modification

You can use transaction ON04 to use screen modification to hide the following quick search fields:

    • From OU

    • To OU

    • Patient

    • Find (Find)

    • Reset (Reset)

    • Initial, Return, and Further checkboxes

      Note Note

      Program SAPLN1F5, screen 200

      End of the note.
  • Report for deleting transport orders for complete requests

If a transport order has the status Completed, the system will delete this transport order from the dispatcher work station.

If a user then sets a request, which has an outstanding transport order assigned, to Completed, the transport order will remain on the dispatcher work station.

To delete transport orders from a completed request which are no longer required, from the dispatcher work station, you execute the report RN1PTS_DELETE_N1FATGEN. On the initial screen of this report, you enter the time span (minutes), which determines that all transport orders of requests which are completed for longer than, for example, 60 minutes, should be deleted from the dispatcher work station.

You should start this job periodically or once each night in the background using Start of the navigation path System Next navigation step Services Next navigation step Jobs Next navigation step Job Definition End of the navigation path.
