Function documentationSettings for Calling Medical Service Entry

You can define various settings for calling the medical service entry function. You determine, for example, whether the service information should automatically be displayed when the service entry is called.

Depending on where you call medical service entry from, you must define the settings as follows:

Settings for Calling in the Documentation Work Station

Within the framework of the documentation work station in SAP Ambulatory Care Management you can define the settings as base items.

See Documentation Work Station

The base item type for medical services provides functions for settings. See Medical Services Base Item Type

Via the base item, a task for service entry has a setting which is always activated when this task is called.

Example Example

You create a task for service entry in the central outpatient clinic. When the user activates this task, the system automatically presets the performing organizational unit and calls a function variant which only contains specific functions for service processing, for example, Create Service, Release Service, and Cancel Service.

End of the example.
Settings for Calling in Outpatient Clinic/Service Facility View Type

You can determine the settings in the Edit Module Configuration function (transaction N1COMPCON) in the implementation guide under Start of the navigation path Industry-Specific Component Clinical System Next navigation step Service Management Next navigation step Services Next navigation step Maintain Settings for Medical Service Entry End of the navigation path.

Define the settings for:

  • Object type: Space

  • Module ID: SAP_MEDSRV

  • Configuration ID: Any string of characters which must lie in the customer namespace (<> S*)

After you have selected Create you can define the settings on the following tab pages:

  • Properties

  • Presettings

  • Hit List

    Note Note

It is possible to select the correct settings if you transfer these settings in the Business Add-In (BAdI) N1_WP_LSTAMB to the component for medical service entry.

    End of the note.

A transport function is available for these settings (component configuration). When you save, the system therefore displays the Prompt for Workbench Request dialog box. This enables you to transport the new or changed component configuration, for example from a test system into a production system.

Features

You can define the following settings:

  • Hit List Active on Call: The system automatically displays the integrated Hit List.

  • Info Active on Call: The system automatically displays the Information on Services.

  • Context Active on Call: The system automatically displays patient data, case data, and movement data (only relevant for the Outpatient Clinic/Service Facility view type). See Context of Patient.

  • Layout: You can define the column sequences, sort orders, and other options (no filters) of the entry table.

  • Function variant: You can define a selection of functions for service processing and their sequence in the function toolbar of the entry table.

  • Movement does not exist on call: You can define what should happen if the user calls the service entry function without a movement (visit).

    • Implicit Visit Creation: If the patient already has a visit to the outpatient clinic on the relevant day, the user enters the services for this visit. Otherwise the system creates a visit and uses the organizational unit-specific settings (default values for treatment category, visit type, etc.).

    • Case List: The system branches to the case list to select a movement. You should note that the user cannot create a new movement here.

On the Presettings tab page you can define the same presettings as in the Change Settings function in the entry table.

See Presetting Configuration

On the Hit List tab page you can define the hit list. You can use Drag&Drop to transfer the services you most often use into the Favorites.

Note Note

It is only useful to define favorites if the performing organizational unit is preset. Only in such cases are the services defined according to the range of services and you can select the favorites from this range.

End of the note.
