Procedure documentationReleasing a Service

You can release services which have the status confirmed requested, scheduled, or performed. Releasing the service triggers a status change.

From this point the user can only make changes to the release services within a period of time restricted in days.

Note Note

The number of days in which changes are still possible is defined in the system parameter N1QUTIME.

End of the note.

Procedure

  1. Select the services concerned and then choose Release Service (Release Service).

The Release Service dialog box appears.

  2. If necessary, change the data and choose Continue (Continue).

    Note Note

No movement reference is created if you release services with the Confirmed requested status. This is created in the same way as when services are performed.

Like when performing a service, the system branches directly to service replacement when you release the services, if the service is a non-performable service. See Replacing Services.

Each time services are performed and released the system checks whether the visit can be completed. A visit can only be completed when all assigned services have Performed or Released status. Canceled or replaced services are not taken into account.

The system sets the services to Released status.

    End of the note.

    Note Note

Medical services in Performed status are planned services in SAP Patient Management (IS-H). Only when you release medical services (Released status), do these services become actually performed services which are then available in subsequent IS-H processes (patient billing, transfer into CO etc.).

    End of the note.

You return to medical service entry.
