Function documentationAssign Work Stations to Rooms

After defining the individual work stations, you must determine which rooms a work station is responsible for. This assignment is required because surgeries are planned at the area level and from the planned areas, and the system is designed to recognize which work stations the patient is to come in contact with.

Example Example

The OR coordinating unit is responsible for all operating rooms

Pre-op room 1 is responsible for rooms 1 to 10

Check-in area for OR area 3 services room 3.

End of the example.

Prerequisites

The work stations are configured for the surgery area. For more information, see Configure Work Stations in OR.
