End of the note.

End of the example.

Prerequisites

You have to have made the necessary print settings for printing the planning grid in the customizing for planning grid display variants. See Creating/Changing Display Variants in Planning Grid

Features

In the planning grid, choose Print (Print). You access the Print dialog box with, for example, the following group boxes for selecting the data to be printed and arranging the print layout:

  • Date/Time From/To

You can enter the date and time range for printing the content of the planning grid.

  • Planning Objects

Select the columns which you wish to print.

  • Print

You can select which ranges you want to print, e.g. day-based appointments, time slot etc..

    Note Note

If you have selected the option for printing day-based appointments, all day-based appointments are always printed irrespective of the height of the range in the time grid. The type of output (side by side or one above the other) matches that on the planning grid screen.

    End of the note.
  • Zoom

You can scale the page width or height. In order to print each column separately, select Print separate columns.

    Note Note

Note that the printing operation can take some depending upon the resolution setting and the number of copies selected.

    End of the note.

The printout contains the following header and footer by default.

The system prints a header and footer on each side which are each divided into three areas (left, center, right). By default the system prints the following texts in these header and footers:

  • Header left: empty

  • Header center: “Planning grid from “<Time grid beginning>” to “<Time grid end>

  • Header right: empty

  • Footer left: date time (format according to system defaults)

  • Footer center: “User “<SY UNAME>

  • Footer right: “Page “<Page>” of “<Number of pages>”

You can override the header and footer with the BAdI ISHMED_PG_PRINTSETTINGS.

The line and column headings are also displayed on each page.

Note Note

If the printout is more than the width of one page, the pages are first printed downwards, then to the right and numbered accordingly.

End of the note.

Caution Caution

If you exit the planning grid while printing, printing is canceled. Therefore wait for the message that printing has been successfully completed. See Print Preview of Planning Grid

End of the caution.
