Creating a Planning Object with Admitting Capacity
For inpatient admission planning in day-based planning, you must define an admission capacity for every day program used in the planning object of the care unit (organizational unit).
You should provide the scheduling departments with admission quotas.
Note
The admission quota check is also available to you in the general planning functions and can be executed for each planning process of an admission appointment. If you use the admission quota check in the planning functions, you must set the system parameter N1AACCHK

On the SAP Easy Access
screen, choose .
The Create Planning Object: Initial Screen
appears.
In the OrgUnit
field, enter the identification key of the organizational unit (care unit), for which you wish to create the planning object.
Note
You can use another planning object as a template. In this case, the system copies the master data and the week and day programs of the template planning object. If you wish to use a planning object as a template, enter an existing planning object (organizational unit, person, building unit) in the Template
group box.
Choose

The Create Planning Object: Data Screen
appears.
Branch to admission capacity maintenance, where you store admission capacities for the planning object. To do this, choose
Admission Capacity
(-
).
Branch to day program creation, where you enter at least one day program for the planning object. To do this, choose
DP

).
You access the Maintain Admission Capacity for Day Program: Data Screen
.
Enter the desired Admission Quota
. Indicate whether the admission quota may be overbooked by entering quantities.
Save the data.
