Function documentationDay-Based Order Item Planning Using Surgeries View Type

Instead of using the day-related planning, you can also plan a surgery appointment for a preregistered order item of a clinical order using a view of the Surgeries view type.

The Surgeries type view displays a list of all the planned surgeries of a specific time period and/or various organizational units (OUs) or rooms (operating rooms).

Depending on the view settings you can add preregistered patients to long-term planning at operating OU level or plan an operating room.

Caution Caution

If you plan a surgery appointment with a view of the Surgeries view type, you will receive the set view in a dialog box. You will only have the functions which you require for planning a surgery appointment in the preregistered order item of a clinical order. You navigate and plan in the same way as in the view in the clinical work station.

End of the caution.

Prerequisites

The system administrator uses the OU-Related parameter N1VKGPLMOD to control which planning functions you can use to plan a surgery appointment when creating or changing a preregistered order item of a clinical order.
