Global Toolbar
You can use the global toolbar when editing situations to provide additional functions for which it would not be sensible to permanently connect these to specific tasks such as, for example, the patient's appointment calendar.
This additional function toolbar can then be found in the documentation work station below the application toolbar.
In order for the global toolbar to be available in a situation, you must define a function variant in the template management for the situation template and assign the template.
In template management for the situation template there is a function available for creating and assigning function variants, similar to that in the clinical work station, which can be used to configure global toolbar.
From the function range of the Outpatient Clinic/Service Facility view type you can select the functions which cannot be defined as tasks in the documentation work station.
The surgery work station provides the user with additional functions for entering and editing surgeries (see Surgery-Specific Functions in Surgery Work Station)
When you execute a function in the global toolbar, the system starts an input dialog or independent transaction depending on the underlying function. As far as possible, the system uses the context data of the work station to parameterize; further data is not transferred.
