You use the material consumption documentation to enter the materials consumed for nursing or medical services. You can use the material consumption documentation with materials management integration. If you use material consumption documentation with Materials Management (MM) integration, you can enter and bill the consumed material for services. Inventory management of the material with goods receipt and goods issue is not possible.

Procedure

You perform the following steps to configure material consumption documentation without MM integration.

  1. Create a material in the clinical system.

  2. Create material proposals for the organizational units.

    You can store a material proposal for services, which is offered as a proposal during material entry. You can find detailed information under Create Material Proposal Without MM Integration.
