Create a Superordinate Material Proposal
The superordinate material proposal is a selected service group which is assigned to a material proposal. The material proposal applies for all services of the service group.
Example
Appendectomy and meniscus resection generally require the same material consumption. You can define a material proposal for both surgeries. You create a service group of minor surgeries to which you assign both services. You define the material proposal for the minor surgery service group.
The superordinate material proposal is maintained using the standard functionality of the Service Group. The superordinate material proposal uses a separate assignment type for the service grouping, which is defined in the institution-related, time-independent system parameter N1MLZUO (assignment type for generic material proposal). Create the material proposal for the service group. See also Create Material Proposal with MM Integration.
The material proposal is determined as follows:
The material proposal which is directly assigned to the corresponding service is displayed.
If no material consumption proposal is assigned to this service, the superordinate material proposal is displayed.
A prerequisite for the superordinate material proposal is that the material consumption documentation is used with Materials Management (MM) integration.
