Searching for Drugs
You can use the drug search to search for drugs which satisfy your search criteria. You can choose from the search results and transfer these drugs into other functions, for example, the medication order.
The drug search criteria are linked so that a drug will only be found if all search criteria are satisfied.
Procedure
You are in, for example, the
Occupancy
view of the clinical work station.Select a patient and call the
Create Order
function.Enter the search term (e.g. asp* if you wish to search for aspirin).
Select
Drug Catalog
as the search area andMnemonic
as the search field.Choose
(Start Drug Search
) to perform the drug search.In the search results screen the system displays a list of the drugs which were selected using the specified search term (asp*).
You can choose a drug. The following options are available to you for the further processing of the drug:
Transfer drug into shopping cart
Transfer drug into order
Display drug information
Remove drug from shopping cart
