  • Administration (Administration)

  • Dispensing (Dispensing)

  • Print Prescription (Print Prescription)

At drug level the system displays the following icons in the columns for the order purposes in order to display how a drug is suitable for an order purpose:

  • Search Only (Search Only)

    Note Note

This icon shows that the drug is only used for the search and not for the order. The system searches in the drug hierarchy for an assigned drug which is flagged with the - (-) icon and can then be ordered.

    End of the note.
  • Search Only and Standad Drugs (Search Only and Standad Drugs)

  • Standard Drugs (Standard Drugs)

  • Icon with the quick info text In Use is displayed if a drug is already in use for a purpose.

  • Icon with the quick info text Not in Use is displayed if a drug should not be used for the selected order purpose.

Subsequent Selection for Purpose

If you have searched for drugs with the Special Request checkbox selected, and the search displays drugs which are not permitted for your selected purpose (only within the framework of a special request), the system displays the icon with the quick info Not in Use in the Use column for these drugs.

You can click the Not in Use icon so that the system also displays any drugs from the same drug hierarchy which are flagged as In Use for the relevant purpose in the results list.

If you call the drug search using an input help of the medication module, you can only select one drug and transfer it to the calling dialog.

If you call the drug search using a drug selection function (e.g. the Order function in the order dialog) the shopping cart is available and you can select several drugs for transfer to the calling dialog.

Note Note

Drug Kits

In multiple selection a checkbox is available for selecting the entire drug kit. In this case all ingredients of the drug kit are transferred into the calling dialog. However, you can also transfer individual drugs from drug kits into the shopping cart or the calling dialog.

In single selection you can only select a drug from a drug kit to transfer it to the calling dialog. You cannot select the drug kit in this mode.

If you select individual order templates of a group and transfer them to the shopping cart, the system will place the word From in front of the node with the name of the template group in the shopping cart. The system will display the selected order templates from this group below the corresponding group node.

If you have transferred all order templates from an order template group into the shopping cart the system will not display the word From in front of the name of the order template group.
