Function documentationResults Tab Page

The Results tab page contains all user-specific presettings relevant for the drug search results list.

The following group boxes are available for user-specific presettings on the Results tab page:

  • Search Result

You can use the double-click behavior to control the system behavior when the user double-click on an entry in the drug search results list.

    Note Note

If you preset Add to Shopping Cart the system adds the selected entry to the shopping cart following the double-click.

    End of the note.

On the selection screen you can restrict the maximum number of hits.

    Note Note

You can use Automatic Selection – Single Result to preset that if there is only one drug in the drug search results list, the system should automatically transfer this drug to the calling dialog.

    End of the note.
  • Price in Results List

In this group box you can determine that the price list in the results list should be filled with the price of a specified price type and its reference dose per drug.

    Note Note

The Price Type selection list is only ready for input if you select the Display Prices in Results Listcheckbox. If you select the OU Setting value as the Price Type, the price type of the OU parameter N1MEDSPRTY is displayed in the drug search results list. Alternatively you can select a price type in the list field which is displayed in the results list.

    End of the note.
  • Favorites

In this group box you can define presettings for searching for favorites.

    Note Note

If you select the Group Favorites According to Hierarchy checkbox, the favorites will also include the drugs belonging to the hierarchy of favorites drugs and display them hierarchically within the favorites node. Otherwise the system will only find the drugs of the favorites which match the specified search criteria.

If you select the Apply Sorting Behavior checkbox, the system will sort the drug favorites regardless of the sort order configured for the results list. Otherwise the system will sort the favorites according to their priority and template group alphabetically.

    End of the note.
  • Drug Kits in Results List

In this group box you can determine how the drug kits should be displayed in the results list. You can display the drug kits as nodes in the results lists or as a group in the hierarchy. Note that one of the two checkboxes must be selected.

  • Classification system

In this group box you can define presettings for searching for classification systems and codes. You can preset whether the drugs of the classification code are immediately displayed within the classification code node when the results list is created. You can also control whether order templates should also be displayed within classification code nodes.

  • Drug Used for Search Only

You can use the Display Drugs checkbox to control whether, in case of drugs which are only permitted for a specific order purpose for searching, subordinate drugs of the hierarchy should be displayed in the results list. If you do not select this checkbox you can select drugs used for searching, but the system will transfer the subordinate default drug to the calling dialog for the corresponding order purpose.

  • Grouping Behavior

You can select which criteria should be used to group drugs. The system will display the grouping criteria as nodes in the results list, below which the corresponding drugs are displayed.

    Example Example

In the Group Drugs By field you can determine that the drug should be grouped by package size. Within this grouping you can group again using another criterion (e.g. administration route).

    End of the example.

    Note Note

It is only possible to enter the second grouping criterion if you have also entered a first grouping criterion.

    End of the note.

You can use the Group By Hierarchy checkbox to preset that the drug hierarchy should be used as the grouping criterion. This grouping is inserted after other grouping criteria.

You should note that the search results display may become unclear if you simultaneously group according to the drug hierarchy and enter both grouping levels. It is not possible to combine grouping according to the drug hierarchy and the brand name or classification code name.

  • Sorting Behavior

You can select how the drug is sorted in ascending or descending order (e.g. drug category). Within this sort order you can sort again using another criterion (e.g. drug description).

    Note Note

It is only possible to enter the second grouping criterion if you have also entered a first grouping criterion.

    End of the note.
  • Expanding Behavior

In this group box you can determine to which node the system should automatically expand the structure.

    Example Example

If, in the Drug Catalog – Level field you select Drug Catalog – Grouping 1 and in the Order Templates – Level field you selectTemplate, the system will open the order templates up to the last level of the structure, but the drug will only be expanded to the first grouping level.

If, in the Drug Catalog - Level field you select Drug Catalog and select the Group By Hierarchycheckbox, the system will open the results list, depending on the order purpose for which you execute the search, up to the drug level which was defined in the level definition of the drug catalog as the standard level for the order purpose. You define the standard level for an order purpose in the Implementation Guide under Start of the navigation path Clinical System Next navigation step Medication Next navigation step Drug Catalog Next navigation step Manage Drug Catalogs End of the navigation path in the Define Levels function.

    End of the example.

    Note Note

Hierarchy grouping is not available for order templates.

    End of the note.
  • Highlight Drug Used in Order

In this group box you can determine how the drugs which have been ordered for the patient, should be highlighted in the results list.

  • Automatic Display of Search Results

You can determine whether the system should automatically start the search process with the selected presettings when the drug search is called.

The following selection options are available, for example:

    • Multiple selection means that the system always automatically executes the drug search with the selected presettings if the search only enables multiple selection of drugs in the results list.

    • Single selection means that the system always automatically executes the drug search with the selected presettings if the search only enables single selection of drugs in the results list.

    • Search Term Entered means the system will automatically call the results list if you have entered a search term in the Mnemonic field in the compressed order row before you called the search using the input help.

    • Abbreviation Indicator Used means the system will automatically call the results list if you call the search having entered a search field abbreviation, an abbreviation indicator and a search term in the Mnemonic field.

You can use the Display Favorites checkbox to control whether a user’s drug favorites and the templates assigned to him should be displayed as a hit list when the drug search is called, if the system does not execute an automatic search.

  • Drug Labeling

The Key or Description checkboxes control whether, in the drug search results list and in the name column in the chart, the system displays the mnemonic or the drug description, and the template group name or template group description for order template groups.
