You can cancel one or more orders regardless of their status.

The system cancels the order and all dependent objects such as, for example, events and preparations.

Only use this function in the case of an error, for example if you have created an order by mistake.

Prerequisites

You have added the function to the function variant in the order detail screen. See Calling Configuration of Function Variants in Medication Order.

Features

You can cancel orders in the following places in the system:

  • In views of the Medication Orders View Type in the clinical work station

  • In the order dialog

  • In the order detail dialog

  • In the Orders UIBB

In view of the Medication Orders view type and in the order dialog, you can select and collectively cancel several orders. In the order detail dialog and in the Orders UIBB, you can only cancel one order at a time.

In the Cancel dialog box, the system displays an overview of the orders to be cancelled and the associated events, structured by patient. You can store a cancellation reason and the employee responsible.

Note Note

If you cancel an order and the associated events, and if MM is connected, the system also cancels material documents and reservations.

Activities

To cancel an order in the Orders UIBB in Smart UI, choose Cancel (Cancel) in the Actions column. See Orders UIBB.

To cancel one or more orders, select one or more orders in a view of the Medication Orders view type in the clinical work station or in the order dialog, and choose Cancel Order (Cancel Order).

To cancel the order displayed in the order detail dialog, choose Cancel Order (Cancel Order).
