You use the Change Event Status function to change the status of events.

You can only change the status of events that have the internal status "Confirmed" or "In Processing".

Depending on the event type (administration, dispensing, print prescription) you can define different external event status labels.

You can call this function as follows:

  • for one selected event in a view of the Medication Events/Inpatient Nursing Services View Type in the clinical work station if you choose Change Event Status (Change Event Status).

  • for one event in the event table in the Administer Drug function, if you choose Change Status (Change Status) in the row of the event in the event table.

    You use this function if you wish to set the events in the event table to different statuses.

  • for all events in the event table in the Administer Drug function, if you choose Set Status for All Events (Set Status for All Events) in the function toolbar.

    This function is only available if all events of the event table have the same status. The status change is then valid for all events of the event table.

Prerequisites

System administration has assigned several external statuses to the internal status In Processing.
