Order Templates Tab Page

The Templates tab page enables you to create order templates for the order type. An order template is used to preset the data of a new clinical order.

You can enter all data (for example, services) of a clinical order in an order template and thus preset this data by using an order template when entering a clinical order. The screen for entering an order template is the same as the clinical order screen.

Note that since you cannot enter data such as patient, initiator, appointments in an order template, you cannot preset this data for a new clinical order.

You can create a clinical order with a cycle as an order template at item or service level. Note that you can only create cycles created at master data level together with an order template. You cannot change the cycle definition for order templates.
