Graphical Plan in Patient Groups
The graphical plan enables the graphical display of the assignment of determined patients to organizational units (OU) and building units (BU). When OUs have beds, the graphical plan displays the free and occupied beds by means of icons.
Prerequisites
To display OUs and BUs in the graphical plan, you must have defined the required master data in the system. For more information, see Organizational Management in SAP Patient Management.
To display the OUs and BUs with the assignment of patients, you must first have determined a group of patients. For more information, see Determining Patients Using Selection Dialog.
Features
The following functions are available in the graphical plan:
Display of the assignment of determined patients to OUs and BUs in the department view
To switch simply and quickly to the room view, double click the title of the graphical plan.
Display of the assignment of determined patients to OUs and BUs in the room view
To obtain a dialog window with a maximized representation of the patient cards of the assigned patients, choose the BU.
Display of the assignment of determined patients to OUs and BUs in the card view
To display the assignment of a patient to an OU in the graphical plan in the card view, choose the patient card.
Display of the multiple assignment of patients to a bed
The system displays the multiple assignment of patients to a bed as a number on the bed icon. In the quick info text for the bed icon, the system displays the names and case numbers of all assigned patients. To obtain a dialog window with patient cards, click the bed icon.
