Features

i.s.h.med Mobile Service Ordering provides the following functions:

  • Favorites

On the Favorites tab page you can select medical services directly from the favorites list. The favorites list consists of favorites groups, service groups and services.

    Note Note

You configure favorites in the i.s.h.med system. In order to be able to use the favorites, you must therefore use service ordering.

    End of the note.

You can find information on the creation of favorites in service ordering under Creating and Managing Favorites.

  • Service Catalog

On the Service Catalog tab page the service catalog is available, in two display variants, for the selection of medical services:

    • Hit List: In the breadcrumb navigation the hit list displays the order types on the classification level before the services.

    • Service Range: The service range displays the services in front of the order types.

You can find information on the service selection options with the hit list and the service range in the service ordering documentation under Service Selection in Service Ordering.

    Note Note

In mobile service ordering you can only select a service for processing once.

    End of the note.

The system confirms the successful selection of a service for processing with a toast message.

  • Process

The Process tab page offers an overview of the number of selected services which you wish to order. In this processing interface you can process the orders with the selected services, confirm these or save these to your desktop for later processing. The processing interface is constructed as follows:

    • Toolbar: This is displayed on a gray background and contains order filler names, order types and the function keys Follow-Up Later and Confirm. You can use Follow-Up Later to save the order to your desktop for further processing.

    • Processing Area of Order: This is displayed on a white background and contains the service name, required entry fields and optional information.

Mobile Service Ordering provides the order types with the application modules you defined and use in Service Ordering.

The system displays the following application modules in the editing area of the Web facet:

    • Order Data

    • Item Data

    • General Medical Data

    • Comment

    • Transport Order

    • Questions

    • Services

    • Surgery Indicators

    • Surgery Team

    • Radiology

    • Transport Type

    • ECG/Pacemaker

    • Cardiology

    • Cardiac Catheter

For more information on using application modules in Service Ordering, see Order Type for Service Ordering: Structuring Tab Page

To confirm an order or save it to the desktop for follow-up later, enter the required information for the order. If you have several services of one order type for one order filler in processing, you only need to enter this information once. The required entry fields of an order are flagged with an asterisk.

    Note Note

Mobile service ordering will not display fields, in which you have entered no information, in the processing area.

    End of the note.

You can use the Other Details link to supplement additional information which the system displays in the processing area. Once you have saved an order, the system confirms the successful saving of the order with a toast message and stores the order under Open Orders.

    Note Note

If you do not receive a toast message after saving the order, check in the i.s.h.med system whether the order has been saved.

    End of the note.

The system indicates that information is missing in an order by displaying a red exclamation mark. The system displays error messages in a dialog box.

If you wish to create several orders, you can transfer information into the same fields of a new order using the Data Transfer function.

You can delete orders or services of the orders, providing they have not yet been confirmed or saved for follow-up later. If an order only contains one service, the system will also delete the order when deleting the service.

If you select several services with the same order type and order filler in mobile service ordering, the system will group these for processing.

For more information, see Create Service Ordering Order.

    Note Note

If you use the Clinical Order component of i.s.h.med, you can further process orders, which you have entered in mobile service ordering, on the desktop.

    End of the note.

If you wish to confirm or save an order for follow-up later, you must ensure that a network connection exists.

    Note Note

If the network connection is interrupted or an endless loop results, you can re-activate the web facet by calling it again.

    End of the note.
  • Open Orders

The Open Orderstab page displays a chronologically ascending list of all orders in incomplete or canceled internal status.

The display is constructed as follows:

  • a list of the patient's orders for the case which you selected for processing on the Web facet

  • a list of the patient's orders for other cases or without a case reference
