On the Select Services page you can select the services which you wish to order. The selection is based either on the service range of the organizational unit which you selected as the order filler, or on order types and order templates which you have created in Customizing. You can also define favorites and select the services using a favorites list.

Prerequisites

In the Customizing activity Configure Order Filler Group you determine, for each order filler of an order filler group, whether the service range of the organizational unit or the order types should be displayed during the service selection.

If you have added favorites to your favorites list, the service selection displays the Favorites when it the Select Services page starts, regardless of the settings in Customizing.

Features

The Select Services page is constructed as follows:

  • Order Fillers UIBB

    The order filler is the service-performing organizational unit to which the service ordering order is addressed.

    You can find further information on this under Order Filler Groups.

  • Service Search UIBB

    In the service search you search for requestable services from the service ranges of the order fillers. The system displays the result of the search in the Services UIBB.

  • Selected Services UIBB

    The Selected Services UIBB provides information about the selected services for the ordering, such as service category, order filler, order type and service ID.

    In the Actions column you can cancel a selected service from the preselection or add it to your favorites.

    In the Status column, the system indicates whether you have already entered information about the service or the related order on the Process Orders page. If you try to remove a service for which you have entered information, the system issues a warning.

  • Favorites

    The system displays the favorites in the Services UIBB. The favorites offer services which you have assigned to the favorites for selection.

  • Services UIBB

    In the Services UIBB the system displays the requestable services for the selected order fillers.

    Depending on the Customizing settings the system displays the services available for selection in one of the following display variants:

    • Service Range

    • Order Types and Order Templates

    If you have defined favorites, the system always displays your favorites first in the Services UIBB.

    The selection of services is different depending on whether these are assigned to one or more order types or to no order type.

    • If a service is only assigned to one order type, the system automatically selects the assigned order type.

    • If a service is assigned to several order types, the system displays an overview of the possible order types below the selected service. You can select the desired order type with Select Order (Select Order).

    • If a service is assigned to no order type, the system selects the standard order type.

The Services UIBB provides the following one-click actions:

  • Select Service (Select Service)

    You use this function to transfer a service into the Selected Services.

  • Select Subordinate Services (Select Subordinate Services )

    You use this selection to directly select all subordinate services of a group service. This function is only active if the service is a group service.

The following functions are also available on the Select Services page:

  • Process Orders (Process Orders)

    You use this function to create a service ordering order and navigate to the Process Orders page.

  • Save Service Selection (Save Service Selection)

You use this function to save your selected services, without entering additional detailed information on the order or the services.
