Property Tax (IMU)

Companies in Italy can use the Flexible Real Estate Management solution for Italy to calculate, post, and report Italian property tax (Imposta Municipale Unica - IMU), according to Italian requirements. The tax is paid for every real estate object owned in Italy.

Note that in Italy, the city tax - ICI (Imposta comunale sugli immobili) was valid until December, 2011. In January, 2012, the city tax was replaced by a similar property tax, which is called IMU (Imposta Municipale Unica).

Activities

If you need to calculate the property tax and prepare an F24 payment file, proceed as follows:

Make the required Customizing for Property Tax (IMU)
To prepare the F24 payment file, make the required settings as described in Customizing for F24 Payment File
Maintain IMU Master Data
Run the Property Tax Report to manage the property tax for your cadastral entries and prepare the F24 payment file
