Intensive Care Scoring

Use

The regulations for entering and reporting intensive care data as required in procedure and diagnoses-oriented hospital financing (LKF)are detailed on the homepage of the Federal Ministry of Health and Women's Affairs.

You report the intensive care data together with the other scoring data.

As was the case before, you can enter intensive care data in a non-SAP system. The system then imports this data to the IS-H system by means of an interface, so that shared reporting is possible.

Instead of doing this, you can also enter and process the intensive care data for a movement on an intensive care organizational unit directly in the IS-H system.

Integration

If there is active intensive care data for a movement, the following restrictions apply:

  • A movement can only be cancelled if you cancel (or if applicable, reassign) the intensive care data first.

  • You can only change the treatment organizational unit (OU) for a movement if the new OU is also an intensive care OU.

If the receiving movement contains an intensive care OU, you can reassign active intensive care data as a subobject during case revision. The system always reassigns the entire intensive care documentation entered in SAP Patient Management.
