Settings for Printing Shop PapersThis process describes which settings you have to make to be able to print shop papers for notifications and orders. The shop papers are SAPscript forms. The standard system includes standard forms, the layout of which you can adapt to suit your needs.
You make all the required settings in Customizing:
For shop papers in Plant Maintenance and Customer Service, choose to make settings for both object types. Enter the application area N for notifications
and O for orders

For shop papers in Quality Management, choose .
You have set up a printer in the SAP system. For more information, see Defining an Output Device for Front-End Printing.
Define the shop papers and their layout.
To do this, choose .
There are the following keys for the Shop Paper
field:

The name in the field for the output program that determines the underlying print program is called RIPRxxxx for Plant Maintenance and Customer Service, and RQQMxxxx for Quality Management. For more information about print programs, see Print Programs and Forms.
In the field for the archive object ID, enter one of the following document types:

Define which shop papers should be proposed when printing takes place.
To do this, choose .
Define the user-specific print default values.
By doing so you define for each user which shop papers are to be printed and how:
On a printer
The shop paper is printed on a printer that has been defined by administrators.
As a fax
For this option, enter the country key and the fax number.
In the optical storage system ArchiveLink
In this case, shop papers are archived on optical disks.
To make these settings, choose . These settings are default values and can be changed when you print.
Activate the print diversion for notifications and orders.
You use the print diversion to define special printers and print parameters for specific shop papers in accordance with the values in specific fields.
To do this, choose and the next step Print Diversion According to Field Contents
.
Activate the delta printing for orders.
This means that only those operations or components can be printed that do not yet have the status Printed
.
To do this, choose . Enter the application area O for orders.
For testing, you can activate printing in online mode.
To do so, choose .
When you activate online processing, all the shop papers from the dialog program are printed and not those from the update program. The settings that you make are valid for the entire client.
You should use printing in online mode only for test purposes, for example, when you are programming your own print programs.
