Forced Deactivating (Power Off) Virtual Elements
You stop SAP instances running on the virtual host and disconnect the virtual systems from the power supply.
Prerequisites

You have permission VirtualResource(ForceActivate,ForceDeactivateSoft,ForceDeactivateHard,ForceSuspend,ForceMigrate).

The virtual element status is
Active.

Optional: You have enabled cluster integration.
If you have enabled cluster integration, SAP Landscape Management automatically adapts the operation.

Procedure
- Choose Operations.
- Choose Cloud or Virtualization from the tabs.
- From the Operations dropdown of the virtual element, choose .
- Optional: Select the Set Note checkbox and enter a note to be displayed in the Information column of the virtual element.
- Choose Execute.
Results

Stops the SAP instances running on the virtual hosts.

Disconnects the virtual systems from the power supply.
