Processing Standard Scales

Note that this procedure only describes the case delivered by SAP. You normally use your own condition types, condition tables and condition records, which cannot be taken into account in this procedure.

Use

You can specify performance-related remuneration for agents using defined levels. If necessary, you can individualize these scales.

In the commission system, quantity and value scales are two different concepts.

Scales are used in life insurance and bonuses.

Prerequisites

In Customizing, choose Commissions Basic/Master Data Standard Commission Contract Remuneration Agreements Agreement for Performance-Related Remuneration Condition Tables and Remuneration Procedures Maintain Condition Types.
Select a condition type and choose Detail.
Under Scales , process the data for:

Scale base type , for example, quantity or value scale

Scale formula

Check

Unit of measure

Scale type

Procedure

In Customizing, you have selected Commissions Basic/Master Data Standard Commission Contract Remuneration Agreements Agreement for Performance-Related Remuneration Maintain Contents of Condition Tables.

Choose
A condition type, (for example, 8000 remuneration FS-ICM) and a table (for example, 196 ).
Continue.
Your Commission Application.
Restrict your selection.
Choose Execute .
Enter the key fields.

Amount

Calculation type

Validity period
Choose Enter .
Choose the row to be processed.
Choose Goto → Scales.
Process the scale levels.
Example: from scale value: 90 000 USD, a share of 40‰ is paid.
From scale value 120 000 USD, a share of 30‰ is paid.
Save your entries.

Result

You can display the standard scales and maintain the individual ones in the commission contract.

Example

In the standard scale, you specify that the agent is paid a share of 30 ‰ for an insurance sum of 50 000-100 000 USD.
