Configure Settings for Workforce Viewer
You use this Customizing activity to view structures in an organizational setup. The organizational setup has different structures that can be displayed according to roles and applications.
Note
A structure is a hierarchical representation of object types (employee, organizational unit, and position) and relationships between the object types in an organizational setup.

The key advantages of using this Customizing activity are as follows:
Override the standard delivered settings for each application with minimal changes
Configure new structures for existing or new applications
Create or reuse existing object and data provider (OADP) data views to display data for an object type
Create or reuse existing evaluation paths to set up the structures
Create or reuse existing function modules to create structures that cannot be created using existing evaluation paths.
The data views used in this Customizing activity are already present in the OADP framework.

You can perform the following activities using this Customizing activity:
Configure different structures
Provide a user interface (UI) description for each structure and object type
Prioritize a structure if more than one structure is available
Enable navigation panel and accordingly display the associated data
Enable multiple selection of nodes and provide further navigation targets to process the selected nodes.
