To execute a report for migrating chargeable item packages into chargeable item classes

Command Usage

Syntax

MS Windows: setup.bat migration executeCIPackageReport <FROM_FILE_PATH>

UNIX and Linux: ./setup.sh migration executeCIPackageReport <FROM_FILE_PATH>

Command Arguments

Name	Definition
`<FROM_FILE_PATH>`	The name and the path of the XML file that contains the report to execute as a script

Detailed Information

The executeCIPackageReport command executes the migration report previously generated with the generateCIPackageReport command and carefully validated by you.

Executing the migration report of the chargeable item packages consists in:

Validating the report
Creating the chargeable item classes specified in the report
Deleting all the existing chargeable item packages (aka products)
Modifying the usage rates of the existing charges to support both the old and new chargeable item class identifiers

Upgrade Operations

When you upgrade an SAP CC system landscape from release 3.0 to 4.0, you must remove the chargeable item packages from the existing service pricing catalogs.

Data Migration Processing

As an application administrator for SAP CC, you:

Stop the updater instances in the running SAP CC Core Server system.
Execute the final report with Setup Tool.
If the report cannot be executed, read the error message displayed on the console, try to fix the problem, and then execute the report again. Contact your SAP Support Team.
Restart the updater instances in the SAP CC system.

To work with this command, you must have the Administrator role in your SAP CC user profile.
