Definition

To view the last log or trace messages from a logging destination of the SAP CC system

Command Usage

Syntax

logs (LDF1|LDF2|LDF3|LDF4|LDF5) [<COUNT>] [<INST_TARGETS> ...]

Command Arguments
Name Description
LDF1 to LDF5 The identifier of the logging file destination
<COUNT> Option: The number of messages to retrieve
<INST_TARGETS> Optional: The target instances of the command (instance ID or instance type)

Detailed Information

The logs command retrieves a subset of the last log or trace messages from the SAP CC Core Server system or from the specified instances of the system.

The number of messages to be retrieved must be set as an argument. If no count is entered, the logs command returns the last 50 messages.

The detailed content and format of the messages depend on the configuration of the SAP CC Core Server system. The messages can include traces for advanced troubleshouting (debugging).
