Detailed Information (Common Infrastructure Log)

The CIF configuration for the specified CIF processor is incorrect. A prefix for the parameter names is missing in these system settings. The CIF configuration is an XML structure. It must include the attribute adminParameterPrefixName in the XML elements that are specified in your log message. Note that the CIF configuration depends on the type of the instances in the SAP CC Core Server system.

Possible Impacts

In the SAP CC Core Server system, this instance will start but the system parameters for this CIF processor will not be available when using the SAP CC Admin+ and the SAP CC Cockpit user interfaces or the SAP CC APIs.

Next Steps (Troubleshooting)

This section provides you with some troubleshooting operations to identify the correction actions to be performed. In a production system landscape, contact your SAP Support Team for each fatal error message in the logs.

Correct the CIF configuration of your SAP CC Core Server system:

  • Determine the type of instances in the system that generated the log message.
  • Export the CIF configuration for this type of instances using the SAP CC Setup Tool user interface.
  • Verify that the CIF configuration is correctly set. Add some missing mandatory XML attributes adminParameterPrefixName to define the system parameters properly. Refer to the SAP Note 2470720 for more information and user assistance.
  • Import the modified CIF configuration.
