Possible Impacts

The data file is set in error ("cleanErr" file extension) and will not be available for the bulkloader instance or for the third-party system.

Next Steps (Troubleshooting)

This section provides you with some troubleshooting operations to identify the correction actions to be performed. In a production system landscape, contact your SAP Support Team for each fatal error message in the logs.

If the data file is not corrupted (e.g. when the error is due to insufficient space in the file system):

  • Rename the erroneous file to remove the cleaning error extension (".cleanErr")
  • Restart the rater instance, to make the data file be cleaned again when the associated channel will be used
You could disable the compression of the data files in the bulkWriter CIF processors.
  • Set the deflate parameters to false (XXX_DEFLATE) for the rater bulkWriter CIF processors
  • Restart your system to activate this configuration
You could elevate the trace level to have detailed information when this error occurs.
  • Enable and configure the generation of traces
  • Set up the trace severity threshold to PATH
  • Ensure that the tracing domain for the bulk loading mechanism (BLK) is enabled
  • After the error occurs, analyze the technical information in the trace messages
  • Correct the error(s)
