What's New in SAP Fiori Client 1.9

(Android) Multi-Window Mode

SAP Fiori Client now supports multi-window mode for Android 7 devices.

(iOS) Split-Screen Mode

SAP Fiori Client now supports split-screen mode for the iPad Pro.

(Android) Screen Sharing

From the Settings screen, you can now enable screen sharing for SAP Fiori client on your mobile device. Previously, the privacy screen that's enabled by default disabled screen sharing, which prevented you from taking screenshots.

For more information, see Managing SAP Fiori Client Settings.

(Android, iOS) Disable Fingerprint Authentication

Your system administrator can now disable fingerprint authentication at any time. When disabled by the administrator, even if your device supports fingerprint recognition, you won't see the option on the Set Passcode screen. When enabled, you can disable it by not selecting Enable unlock with fingerprint when setting a passcode.

For more information, see Passcode Screen.

Privacy Policy Statement

The opt-in screen for data collection now contains a default "SAP Privacy Policy" option that specifies the Terms and Conditions for data collection. Also, your system administrator can now add additional privacy policies. To review a policy, simply tap on it.

For more information, see Data Collection.

Save Logon Credentials

When using SAP Fiori Client to log on to an SAP Fiori launchpad, you now have the option to save your user name and password. When you choose to save your credentials, they are prepopulated in the designated fields the next time the logon screen is shown.

For more information, see SAP Fiori Logon.

Manage Passcode

From the Settings screen, you can now change, add or disable a passcode using the Manage Passcode option.

For more information, see Settings Screen.
