Creating Replenishment Proposals Automatically in the Background

Use

This procedure describes how you can instruct the system to create replenishment proposals in periodic intervals automatically in background mode for certain supply segments.

You can check any errors that occur in planning in the log .

Procedure

You are on the initial screen for the supply-to-production table (transaction S2L).

  1. In the Mode field, choose Change Mode with Replenishment Proposals .

  2. As selection criteria enter either a line structure, a material or a supply area.

  3. Choose Start of the navigation path Program Next navigation step Execute in Background End of the navigation path .

  4. Enter the necessary data.

Result

You have triggered automatic planning. The system executes this planning either once only or periodically in the intervals you defined in background mode.
