Log

Use

The log displays your errors or problems with the calculation of the stock/requirements situation at the supply area and when creating replenishment elements.

Features

The following individual functions are available for displaying the log.

  • You can control whether you want the system to display the log when saving the replenishments and/or whether it is to be saved.

  • You can define an expiry date for saved logs.

  • You can display log entries per supply segment .

  • You can also display messages from SAP APO with long texts.

  • You can display or delete saved logs.

    Note Note

    Logs are not recorded on the database until you save your data. No log is saved if you only want to use the transaction for display purposes or if you exit it without saving.

Activities

  • You make the settings for the log control in the initial screen of the supply-to-production table, under Start of the navigation path Global Settings Next navigation step Log. End of the navigation path .Here, you define whether the log is to expire on a certain date, whether it can be deleted before the expiry date or whether a log is displayed when saving.

  • To delete or display saved logs, choose Start of the navigation path Environment Next navigation step Display Logs End of the navigation path or Delete Logs from the supply-to-production table or on the initial screen.
