Supply-to-Production Table

Definition

The Supply-to-Production Table (S2P Table) is an application you can use to monitor and execute automatic supply-to-production.

Use

The supply-to-production table is a tool for planning and executing automatic supply-to-production.

You access the initial screen of the supply-to-production table by choosing Start of the navigation path Logistics Next navigation step Logistics Execution Next navigation step JIT Outbound Next navigation step Summarized JIT Call Next navigation step Supply-to-Production Table End of the navigation path (Transaction S2L).

You can use the supply-to-production table for:

  • Displaying the stock/requirements situation for several supply segments

  • Grouping supply segments by lines and supply areas

  • Displaying the stock/requirements situation for a supply segment in detail

  • Interactive planning with automatic or manual creation of replenishment proposals

Structure

The supply-to-production table consists of three large areas: The navigation tree, the list of supply segments and the list of planning elements for each supply segment. Included in the title of the S2P table is the time that the table was last updated.

Below is a simplified graphic of the supply-to-production table:

Navigation tree

You can use the navigation tree in automatic supply-to-production to create a hierarchical display and to process your supply segments.

Two default settings exist for accessing the navigation tree:

  • Plant / storage location / supply area

  • Line-oriented (see graphic)

For more information, see also Accessing Automatic Supply-to-Production .

List of supply segments

The list of supply segments displays the supply segments for the selected nodes in the tree. For each supply segment, the system displays the planning data of the planning elements in aggregate form.

You can use the following functions when creating replenishment proposals at supply segment level:

  • Regenerative planning for a supply segment

  • Delete replenishment proposals

  • Create, increase or decrease replenishment proposals manually

  • Override the planning horizon

  • Switch between processing and change mode

All the standard functions, such as, sorting, setting a filter or printing, for example are also available.

For more information on the standard functions, see also SAP List Viewer (ALV Grid Control .

List of planning elements

In the planning element list, the system lists the receipts and issues for a supply segment. Stocks, dependent requirements, postprocessing records and replenishment elements which were created either manually or automatically are displayed in detail.

You can follow the stock situation over time using the intermediary results from the missing quantities calculation .

All the standard functions, such as, sorting, setting a filter or printing, for example are also available.

For more information on the standard functions, see also SAP List Viewer (ALV Grid Control .
