Evaluating Single Roles by Authorization Data

Use the RSUSRAUTH transaction to find roles by searching their authorization data.

Context

This transaction is similar to the Roles by Complex Selection Criteria by Authorization Values report (report RSUSR070 variant SAP&_VALUES). Some differences include the following:

  • The transaction returns information about the maintenance status of the authorizations of single roles.

  • The transaction enables you to search with more authorization objects.

  • The report returns composite roles in addition to single roles.

Procedure

  1. Start the report in the User Information System (transaction SUIM) by choosing Start of the navigation pathRoles Next navigation step Search by Single Roles with Authorization DataEnd of the navigation path.
  2. Enter the required data.

    Restrict the results with the following categories of selection options:

    • User assignment
    • Maintenance status of authorizations or fields
    • Authorization values

  3. Choose Execute.
