Mapping and Synchronization Process

Use

You can synchronize data found in the directory with the database with this process.

Prerequisites

• You have produced a concept for the data flows between SAP systems and LDAP-compatible directories.

• You have set up your system for using LDAP.

• The LDAP Connector is configured.

• You system landscape has a system with SAP Web Application Server 6.10 or higher.

Process

1. You define the logical LDAP Server using transaction LDAP.

2. You extend the schema of the directory service, if necessary.

3. You define the Mapping of SAP data fields to the directory attributes, the Purpose of the Mapping, and the Synchronization Direction with transaction LDAPMAP.

4. You start the synchronization with report RSLDAPSYNC_USER.
