Starting eCATT

Use

There are two ways to call the eCATT initial screen:

  • Choose Start of the navigation pathSAP menu Next navigation step Test Next navigation step Test Workbench Next navigation step Test Tools Next navigation step Extended CATTEnd of the navigation path.

  • Use transaction code SECATT.

On the initial screen, the Select Object subscreen is displayed on the left, and the favorites list, object history, and log history on the right. Both subscreens are described in more detail below.

'Select Object' Subwindow

In the Select Object subwindow, you select the radio button for the required object: test configuration, test script, validation object, test data, system data, or start profile. Enter the name of the object, or filter by object. Then choose Execute; this takes you to the respective editor, where you can display and edit the object:

Favorites List with Object and Log History

The favorites list gives you quick access to eCATT objects that you want to reuse. The object history displays the eCATT objects that you have worked on most recently. Similarly, the log history contains the logs that have been displayed most recently. For more information, see Favorites List with Object and Log History.
