Maintaining Budget Structure Templates You have created the commitment items you would like to group together in the master data of the system.
Choose and make the required entries:
Year-Dependent Budget Structure Template
Enter an FM area, a budget structure template and a fiscal year.
Year-Independent Budget Structure Template
Enter an FM area and a BS template.
You can limit your selection to a commitment item sub-hierarchy by entering a commitment item.
You can specify a BS template to use as a reference. The system then automatically copies all the commitment items from this template with their relevant object indicators to the new group.
Choose
Continue
.
Enter a name and a description for the template and choose
Continue.
You reach an overview of the commitment item hierarchy in accordance with the entry point you have chosen.
Select the commitment items that you want to combine in a template and choose
Insert into Template
.
Using
Delete from Template
, you can remove the commitment items selected from the template.
Choose
Object Definition.
An overview of the object indicators appears.
Set the
Budget object
and/or
Posting object
indicators for each of the commitment items in the template.
To set an indicator for all commitment items displayed, choose
Select column
.
To delete an indicator from all the commitment items displayed, choose
Deselect column
.
Save
the template.
To change BS templates, choose
Proceed as described in Creating Budget Structure Templates .
Caution
If you are already working with a budget structure which was defined using BS templates and you make subsequent changes to the object function (budget object/posting object) in a template, this changes affects all the funds centers to which you have assigned this template.
For the change to take effect in the budget structure, you must run the
Budget Structure: Generate Objects from BS Templates
