Creating Funds Centers

Procedure

  1. Choose Start of the navigation path Accounting Next navigation step Public Sector Management Next navigation step Funds Management Next navigation step Master Data Next navigation step Funds Center Next navigation step Individual Processing Next navigation step Create..   2. Enter an FM area in the Enter FM area dialog box, then choose .

    Note Note

    You only need to enter the FM area when you call up the transaction for the first time. The next time you call it up, the FM area you selected is automatically defaulted. To change the FM area, choose FM area.

  3. Enter the alphanumeric code and the validity period for the fund center. Next choose .

    Note Note

    You can specify an unlimited validity period using a validity period from 1900 to 9999.

  4. On the Create Funds Center screen, enter the required data for the funds center by choosing the relevant tab page.

    Note Note

    You can specify a higher-level funds center when you create the funds center on the Hierarchy tab page. Alternatively, you can also specify the hierarchy reference at a later point in time when processing hierarchy variants .
