Deleting a Collaboration

Use the My Collaborations app to delete a collaboration. This feature applies to both default and custom storage.

Prerequisites

You have the necessary roles and authorizations to perform this action.

For more information, see the User Actions and Roles table in Participants.

Contact your solution administrator about the required roles and authorizations.

Procedure

From the SAP Fiori launchpad, open the My Collaborations app.
Select the collaboration you want to delete, choose Delete.
Caution
- Deleting a collaboration also deletes all the associated objects.
- No participants associated with the collaboration can further access it.
- Deleting a collaboration permanently deletes it.
- Deleting a system collaboration of a product package exchange isn't allowed.
Confirm the message.
Note
- In default storage, if the Document Retention and Expiry option is enabled for documents in a collaboration, you can only delete a collaboration when all the documents are auto deleted after the defined number of days.

- When you delete a collaboration, it is removed from the objects of the other SaaS applications that are related to the status profile of the Manage Statuses and Manage Teams apps.
- In custom storage:
  
  You can delete a collaboration even when an attached file is checked out.
  
  When you delete a collaboration, the checked-out files are also deleted.
