Adjust Untagging

Use

You can use this function to copy the current operational condition/type of a technical object as the desired untagging condition/type.

Example

Valve V is in both Operational WCD A and Operational WCD B:

  • Valve V must have the tagging condition CLOSED in Operational WCD A, so that Pump A can be repaired. The untagging condition is OPEN .

  • Valve V must also have the tagging condition CLOSED in Operational WCD B in this case, in order to be able to repair Pump B. The untagging condition is OPEN .

Both Operational WCDs are tagged. Thus, the current operational condition of Valve V is CLOSED .

After repairing Pump A, the Operational WCD A must be untagged again. The planned untagging condition OPEN for Valve V cannot, however, be adopted, because the valve must be closed for the repair of Pump B. This means that the planned untagging condition must be corrected so that the untagging can be executed without any conflict.

You execute the adjust untagging. By doing this, you adopt the current operational condition CLOSED of Valve V in Operational WCD A as the new untagging condition.

Then you can untag Operational WCD A without any conflict.

Note Note

This is a simplified example, in which the same operational group and the same operational type is assumed.

End of the note.
