Understanding Different Catalog Views

You can access the catalog from either the SAP Business Data Cloud cockpit or SAP Datasphere systems. The system you use to access the catalog determines the content you see and the tasks you can perform to manage source systems and content.

• Users in organizations using SAP Business Data Cloud with SAP Datasphere integration can access the catalog from either the SAP Business Data Cloud cockpit system or the connected SAP Datasphere system. You'll have different catalog views depending on the system that you use to access the catalog. See Understanding Central and Formation-Based Catalog Views.

• Users in organizations using a standalone SAP Datasphere system, you can access the catalog only from the local SAP Datasphere system that hosts the catalog. In this scenario, you have a single catalog view. See Understanding the Single Catalog View.
