Broker Report Overview

Use

In the web application WD_IBR_BR_OVERVIEW, brokers and permitted insurance processors have an overview of all broker reports for which they are responsible.

From this application, brokers/insurance processors can display broker reports or select them for processing. They can switch between three lists: Open Broker Reports , Released Broker Reports , or All Broker Reports .

The broker report overview provides the following information about your assigned broker reports:

  • Broker report identification number

  • Search term for broker report

  • Name of responsible broker

  • Broker contract number

  • Settlement period

  • Date, time and cause of last change

  • Status of broker report

The broker reports to be processed in the web application can take the following external status:

  • Open broker reports

    Brokers/insurance processors can process and release the open broker reports.

  • Released broker reports

    The insurance company can post the released broker reports.

  • Posted broker reports

    The insurance company has posted the posted broker reports.

  • Broker reports to be clarified

    The broker reports to be clarified include all other statuses.

The status of the broker report decides whether the broker/insurance processor can display or process a broker report.

The system displays broker reports for web brokers and broker reports for non-web brokers. It is only possible to process the broker reports for web brokers. For more information, see Rules for Broker Report Processing with Web Applications .

The external status for the web broker reports is automatically assigned to the internal status for the standard broker reports as follows :

Activities

After logging on, insurance processors can choose the broker and the broker contract for which they want to process broker reports. The system checks the data entered against the valid broker contracts for this user. Insurance processors can perform the same processing steps as registered brokers.

In the broker report overview, you can select broker reports from web brokers with open status to be changed. All other broker reports can be selected for display. For more information about changing broker reports with open status, see Processing Broker Reports .
