Creating Determination Records

Use

After having defined determination condition tables in Customizing , you enter values in these tables in order to determine which VAS templates apply in which circumstances.

Prerequisites

You have performed the following activities in Customizing for Start of the navigation path Logistics Execution Next navigation step Warehouse Management Next navigation step Value-Added Services End of the navigation path :

  • Define Key for VAS Template Determination

  • Define Access Sequence for VAS Template Determination

  • Define Determination Type for VAS Template

  • Define Procedure for VAS Template Determination

  • Define Number Ranges for VAS Template Determination Records

Procedure

  1. From the SAP Easy Access menu, choose Start of the navigation path Logistics Next navigation step Logistics Execution Next navigation step Internal Whse Processes Next navigation step Value-Added Services (VAS) Next navigation step Master Data Next navigation step Determination Conditions Next navigation step Create. End of the navigation path

  2. Enter a determination type and choose Enter .

    The Key Combination dialog box appears.

  3. Select one of the proposed key combinations, for which you want to create a condition record and choose Enter .

    The Create VAS Processing (VASP): Fast Entry screen appears.

  4. Enter values in the key fields.

  5. In the Packing instruction field, enter the name of a VAS template. You can also enter the names of other VAS templates in the Altern. pack. instr . fields.

    Note Note

    If you enter more than one VAS template, they will be rated according to the VAS template rating. The ratings determine the VAS template on which the resultant VAS order is based.

  6. If you want to display a VAS template, select its corresponding field and choose Packing instruction .

  7. Save the record.

Result

A linkage between a set of conditions and one or more VAS templates is established.

You can also change and display existing determination records by choosing Start of the navigation path Logistics Next navigation step Logistics Execution Next navigation step Internal Whse Processes Next navigation step Value-Added Services (VAS) Next navigation step Master Data Next navigation step Determination Conditions Next navigation step Change/Display End of the navigation path from the SAP Easy Access menu.
