Approving Wiki Pages

Prerequisites

You can define approval for a page in two ways:

  • The creator of a wiki page can enter the approvers in the options for collaboration. For more information, see Collaborating with Other Users on Pages.

  • The administrator can specify users or groups for a given space. In this case, all the pages that were created in this space must be approved. All specified space approvers are visible in the Users who must approve for publication section.

Context

A wiki page can be published with or without approval.

If approval is not required, the creator or one of the co-authors can publish the page.

If approval is required, the page can only be published by the approvers, and not by the creator or one of the co-authors.

Procedure

  1. Choose Start of the navigation pathMy Stuff Next navigation step Pages Awaiting Approval.End of the navigation path

    A list of the pages that you must approve is displayed.

  2. Choose a page, read the text, and decide whether the page should be approved or rejected.

    When all other defined approvers for this page approve it, the page is published on the wiki.
