Process the Received Catalog Data

Use

The CatalogueItemNotfication message is received by the XI proxy and stored in ERP. It contains information about article master data that has been entered.

You can use the transaction WGDS_STORAGE_MONI to display and process the received data. The system transfers the catalog data to the price catalog with the validation and enrichment processor (transaction W_PRICAT_MAINTAIN).

Prerequisites

Processing the XI system and the AS2 adapter

Activate monitoring (PPO): You can find the documentation on this in the Implementation Guide under Cross-Application Components -> General Application Functions -> Postprocessing Office -> Business Processes -> Activate Creation of Postprocessing Orders. See also: Postprocessing Office .

Define worklist (PPO): You can find the documentation on this in the Implementation Guide under Cross-Application Components -> General Application Functions -> Postprocessing Office -> Worklist -> Define worklists. Select the software component /S-R as your work area, add the BCA worklist to the table, and then select the column Standard Worklist .

Optional settings: Change the structures of the GDS storage. For more information, see the Implementation Guide (IMG) under Logistics - General -> Material Master -> Global Data Synchronization -> Inbound -> Message Inbound -> Configure GDS storage .

Procedure

Use transaction W10T to call the special initial menu for the retailing system.

Choose Logistics -> Retailing -> Master Data -> Material Data -> Price Catalog - Inbound Processing -> Message Inbound ->Monitor Message Inbound . For information on how to proceed, see the following:
