Preparing for Scheduled Data Creation The report RWRF_PRICAT_TERMINATION is intended for periodic planning as a job. It is used to either transfer article data in the price catalogs supplied by vendors to the article master data or to create articles automatically or on a specified date.
During the enhanced price catalog processing transaction (W_PRICAT_MAINTAIN), you can use the setting
Automatic Transfer
to specify which article data is automatically transferred from the price catalog IDocs to the worklist as part of the IDoc inbound processing. This enables an automatic transfer of article data from the vendor. See
Edit Price Catalog (Enhanced)
, section "Prerequisites"
The report transfers the data to the SAP system.
For each batch run, the background process for the automatic forwarding of catalog data determines the material and units of measure that are to be valid on the current date and transfer all the relevant fields. This includes information scheduled in the SAP system, such as prices. Note that prices and conditions have their own valid-from date. In the case of new material, they cannot be saved to an SAP table until the date on which the material is valid. If you make a change, prices are immediately posted as scheduled in the SAP system.
A catalog entry is saved with the valid from date 01/01/04. After processing on 07/08/03, the entry can be transferred to the SAP master data.
If the trigger date (the day on which an item is to be transferred) is the same as or earlier than the current date plus the lead time, the system transfers the catalog entry during the batch run.
