The European Union's food information regulations (FIR) define what information about food must be provided. This includes information about ingredients, allergens, nutritional values, and alcohol content.

You can display this information in price catalog maintenance.

Prerequisites

  • Execute the activities that are described in SAP Note 2081287Information published on SAP site.

  • Activate the display of food information in Customizing for Logistics - General, under Start of the navigation path Article Master Next navigation step Global Data Synchronization Next navigation step Inbound Next navigation step Additional Features Next navigation step Activate Display of Food Information End of the navigation path.

  • To include the column with the hotspot Food Information in the display, choose Change Layout... (Change Layout...) in the catalog display. Then choose Food Inf. (Hotspot) from the column set.

Procedure

  1. Use transaction W10T to call the special initial menu for the retailing system.

  2. Choose Start of the navigation path Logistics Next navigation step Retailing Next navigation step Master Data Next navigation step Article Data Next navigation step Price Catalog Inbound Processing Next navigation step Data Transfer Next navigation step Select and Edit Price Catalog End of the navigation path.

  3. In group box Restrictions, select a Profile.

  4. Select a catalog for which you want to display the data (see also: Selecting Price Catalogs for Editing).

  5. To go to catalog editing, choose Selection -> Display or Display Price Catalog (Display Price Catalog).

  6. To display the food information for an article, click the corresponding hotspot in column Food Information (Food Information).

The food information is displayed.
