Archiving Markdown Plans (LO-MD-SE-MDF)
Archiving object W_MARKDOWN
is used to archive markdown plans in the Markdown Planning
component.
Using markdown plans, you can plan article markdowns for season management in retail. With fashion goods, you can plan markdowns for specific periods, at the start of a season. With markdown planning, you can simulate data and then activate markdown plans.
The W_MARKDOWN
archiving object enables you to archive markdown plans.
In addition, you can also use the following delete functions:
Deleting markdown plans (transaction WMF4
)
A markdown plan may be deleted if it is still at the planning stage, that is, if no price phase for it has been activated. You therefore have the possibility to create several “practice versions” of a markdown plan. Once you have decided on a version, you can activate prices from the relevant markdown plan and then delete the plans that are not required.
Deleting markdown rules (transaction WMR4
)
Markdown rules can be deleted only when they are no longer used in other areas. Before deletion, their use in markdown plan header data, markdown plan item data, and markdown types is checked.
Note
The archiving object has been revised as part of a project to standardize and optimize data archiving. You can use the standardized archiving object by activating the business function Data Archiving: Standardization of Archiving Objects - Retail/Agency Business (DA_ARCHOBJ_STANDARD_3
). You can find the description of this business function under Standardization of Archiving Objects for Retail/Agency Business. For more information, see the business function documentation in the Switch Framework (transaction SFW5
).
