  • Changes to a commission case that has already been posted

  • Changes to pending commission cases

The changes can also be made retroactive.

See Selecting Commission Cases .

Make the required changes.

Changes to commission cases that have already been posted

The following situations normally lead to a change to the commission case:

  • Correction to the participation, due to a wrong entry

  • Supplement to or deletion of special commission

  • Corrections to the commission activities

  • Other changes to the primary entry data (information for the commission document)

A changes is made to a commission case by specifying the changed data for the commission case in the interface, when using the same name for the business transaction ID.

Note Note

Making a change produces a new version of the commission case that is retained in the primary entry.

End of the note.
Changes to commission cases with “pending”status

The following situations lead to changes in commission cases that are have the pending status:

  • Releasing parked commission cases

  • Correcting data that contains errors

  • Supplementing missing data

Retroactive changes to commission cases

Caution Caution

Retroactive changes cause one or more statuses for a business object ( contract for example) to become invalid.

In this case, the commission case must also be reset .

The commission system assumes that these resets are reported individually by the policy management system.

New processing statuses can occur in a retroactive change (sometimes with different effective dates).

Each one of these statuses must be transferred as a commission case and is processed as for creating a commission case .

End of the caution.
